Joeli Brearley

Joeli experienced maternity discrimination with her first child. Unable to access justice because of the time limit on taking one’s employer to tribunal, she set up Pregnant Then Screwed. Initially a forum for women to share their stories on maternity discrimination, several years later she is making waves in parliament, has set up two helplines for women needing support, and has also created a hugely popular festival for mothers called Pregnant Then Screwed Live.
