Jo Field has been an inspiration and mentor to many women working within public affairs. She developed and led Transport for London’s award-winning stakeholder engagement team over a period of nine years. While at TfL she worked on a wide range of equalities and inclusion initiatives, including a women in transport programme, an award-winning buggy summit, and she also founded TfL’s youth panel, making it the first public transport authority in the world to give young people a direct voice in policy-making.
Jo is a Board member of Women in Transport, and has set up the All Party Parliamentary Group for women in transport, to address women’s under-representation in the male dominated transport industry. Jo founded JFG Communications, a virtual Public Affairs, PR and diversity agency in 2016. She is also a stakeholder engagement trainer for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
